The Association for Historical Fencing and Palm Beach Classical Fencing are pleased to invite you to a classical fencing tournament.

Whether you're a seasoned fencer, a complete beginner, or somewhere in between, this is a great opportunity for you to meet other fencers, test out your skills, and get a taste of the spirit of classical fencing.

A classical fencing tournament differs in several ways from a modern (electric) fencing competition, so if you're new to classical fencing please read our rules carefully. One main difference is that fencers are also awarded technical points to distinguish between those who are adhering to sound martial principles and those who are merely interested in scoring points.

Spectators are welcome free of charge.

Complete rules are available online for foil, épée and sabre. PLEASE READ THESE RULES IF YOU PLAN ON COMPETING!

9:00 - 9:30: Check-in and equipment inspection
9:30 - 10:00: Announcements
10:00 - 1:30: Foil
1:30 - 2:30: Break for lunch
2:30 - 3:00: Foil continuation
3:00 - 3:30 Épée
3:30 - 4:30: Sabre
4:30 - 5:00: Raffle

Times are approximate! All fencers must report to registration and inspection no later than 9:30 am.

Covid Policy

All participants must take a Covid test within 48 hours before the start of the tournament and will be asked to certify in writing that they have done so and that the test results are negative. Please test yourself (via either rapid or PCR test) before coming to the tournament!

Registration closed on March 16th.
